The Set up:
Ask some to try and light a candle without touching a flame to its wick:
The Rules:
You have to light a candle without touching a flame to its wick. Keeping the flame at least an inch from the wick. You cannot touch the candle.
The Solution:
The people will be trying with an unlit candle, they won't be able to do it. To show them how to do it and in making the point of the trick you show them how it seems impossible to do as you hold the flame closer and closer showing it just won't ignite until you touch the flame to the wick. (now you've lit the candle,... perfect,... it's what we need to do the trick) So now with the candle burning you tell them you're going to do the trick,... and you let it burn for a second or two, then blow it out. Quickly, hold the lit match in the stream of smoke coming from the wick.
The smoke itself will ignite and travel down re-igniting the wick.
